оро
Bashkir

Оро
Etymology
Unknown, probably from the verb *ur- "to pour" (compare Khakas, Shor, Tofalar ur- "to pour"), or from the verb or- / *ur- "to dig" — compare Karachay-Balkar уру (uru, “hole”).
See also Bashkir ҡоҙоҡ (qoðoq), ҡойо (qoyo, “well”), which both developed from a different verb stem with the same meaning "to pour".
