Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (sağ, healthy); Tatar сау (sau), Kazakh сау (saw), Karachay-Balkar сау (saw), Kumyk сау (saw, healthy); Kyrgyz соо (soo, healthy), Southern Altai су-кадык (su-kadïk, healthy) or суу (suu, healthy) , Uzbek sogʻ (healthy), Uyghur ساق (saq, healthy), Turkish sağ (healthy), etc.
