հզօր
Old Armenian
Alternative forms
- հզաւր (hzawr)
Etymology
From հ- (h-) + զօր (zōr). Otherwise, the whole word may be a borrowing from Middle Iranian *huzōr, with the same meaning; and even if not, the Iranian influence is undeniable.
