חבית

Borrowed from Aramaic חָבִיתָא‎ (ḥāḇīṯā, “jug, amphora”), as are also Arabic خَابِيَة‎ (ḵābiya) and Ge'ez ኅበይ, ሕበይ (ḫəbäy, ḥəbäy), ultimately from Akkadian 𒂁𒉺𒅁𒌉 (ḫābû, ḫāpû, “jug, amphora”) of obscure origin.
