Usage notes
- Unlike English dry, Hebrew יִבֵּשׁ is specifically used when one person or thing is drying another. When a person or thing is becoming dry on its own, the related intransitive verb התייבש \ הִתְיַבֵּשׁ (hityabésh) is used.
