ממשלה

From מָשַׁל‎ (mashál, “to rule, to reign, to govern”). Compare with Arabic مُمَثِّل‎ (mumaṯṯil, “representative”).

מֶמְשָׁלָה • (memshalá) f (plural indefinite מֶמְשָׁלוֹת‎, singular construct מֶמְשֶׁלֶת־‎)

1. A government.
