רְבָבָה • (r'vavá) f (plural indefinite רְבָבוֹת‎, plural construct ריבבות \ רִבְבוֹת־‎)

1. ten thousand, myriad

   ‏בכיכר נאספו רבבות מפגינים.‎‎

   Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in the square.

   • 1 Samuel 18:7, with translation of the New International Version:

     ‏וַֽתַּעֲנֶינָה הַנָּשִׁים הַֽמְשַׂחֲקֹות וַתֹּאמַרְן הִכָּה שָׁאוּל [בַּאֲלָפָיו] וְדָוִד בְּרִבְבֹתָיו׃‎‎
