دَنِيء (danīʾ) (feminine دَنِيئَة (danīʾa), masculine plural أَدْنِيَاء (ʾadniyāʾ) or أَدْنَاء (ʾadnāʾ) or دُنَآء (dunaʾāʾ) or أَدَانٍ (ʾadānin), elative أَدْنَأ (ʾadnaʾ))

  1. low, mean, vile, despicable
  2. inferior, worthless, of poor quality
  3. weak-minded, cowardly
