Etymology
From Old Georgian მზე (mze), მზჱ (mzē), from Proto-Kartvelian *mz₁e-. Cognate with Svan მიჟ (miž), Mingrelian ბჟა (bža) and Laz მჟორა (mžora). Middle Armenian բոզի (bozi), բուզի (buzi, “Sun”) may be a Kartvelian borrowing.
