Japanese
Etymology 2

Usage notes
This prefix is only seldom used except where it appears as part of loan words that include the prefix trans- in the source language. For coinages in Japanese, Japanese writers are much more likely to use a native Japanese construction or phrase instead of this still-very-foreign loanword.
