Japanese

Proper noun

ハマル (rōmaji Hamaru)

  1. Hamal, a star in the constellation Aries
    • 2009, Takayuki Yoshida, “Ohitsuji-za, Aries”, in Tentei shashin no seikai [World of astral photography]:
Hamaru igai no hoshi wa 3 nado hoshi ika no kurai hoshi bakari nanode, tokai kara de wa seiza no katachi o sōzō suru no wa konnan desu.
The stars other than Hamal are dim, only around class 3 or below, so it is difficult to make out this constellation in the city.
