- 段答えて曰く進香は星考禁あり、遵わう者は孝たり、遵わざる者は不孝たり、とて使者の耳鼻を割き、峻厳の語をもて斥く。
- Dan kotaete iwaku jinshian wa kōkō kin ari, shitagawau mono wa kō tari, shitagawazaru mono wa fukō tari, tote shisha no jibi o saki, shungen no go o mote shirizoku.
- Since jinxiang (offering incense) was forbidden by decree, those who obeyed were dutiful, those who disobeyed were faithless, and even the messenger's ears and nose would be cut, according to the strict reply.
