Usage notes
- Even though this suffix belongs primarily to the participle conjugation denoting a past action that continues into the present, it is most commonly used in its negated form -аагүй (-aagüj) to make finite clauses with the meaning "haven't _____". It can also form rhetorical questions with interrogative particle юу and, more rarely, affirmative sentences (mostly байгаа (bajgaa), яваа (javaa)).
