From Ottoman Turkish [script needed] (-nda, locative suffix), from Proto-Turkic *-nta (locative suffix), formed with *-n- (oblique case marker). Cognate with Karakhanid نْدا (-ndā, locative suffix), Old Turkic 𐰦𐰀 (-nta, locative suffix).
