Lone Scout (plural Lone Scouts)

  1. (Scouting) A member of the Scouting movement who is in an isolated area or otherwise does not participate in a regular Scouting unit or organization.
  2. (Scouting, US, historical) A member of the Lone Scouts of America, a Scouting organization for American boys that operated from 1915 to 1924, after which it was merged with the Boy Scouts of America.
