Probably of North Germanic origin, from Old Norse *fukka. Compare Faroese fukka, dialectal Norwegian fukka, dialectal Swedish focka. Compare also Middle Dutch fokken (to breed, bump, fuck), Middle High German ficken (to rub, solidify, strengthen). Further etymology uncertain.
