Compare *tewh₂- (“to swell, crowd, be strong”). Possibly analyzed as *tewh₂-k- or *tewH-k-, though the evidence is unclear[1]. Superficially similar to *(s)tewk- (“to strike, hit”) but unclear whether semantically related.
