desfăca
See also: desfaça
Romanian
Etymology
Uncertain. One proposed etymology was a Vulgar Latin *disfabicāre. It is more likely linked to or derived from Romanian înșfăca. Cf. also Aromanian dizvoc, dizvucari (“tear to shreds, delapidate, wreck”), which may or may not be related.[1] See also the rare and dialectal Romanian dezvoca, which may be a variant of this word, and see also dehoca.
Verb
a desfăca (third-person singular present desfacă, past participle desfăcat) 1st conj.
