pishë
Albanian
Etymology
From Proto-Albanian *pīsā, from Proto-Indo-European *pitso- (compare Latin pinum, Ancient Greek πίτυς (pítus)). Because of the unclear basis of the above mentioned words, Beekes argues for a substrate origin.
