pixmap
English
Usage notes
- Whereas a bitmap is sometimes represented with 1 bit per pixel, allowing each dot in the image to be only one of two colours (monochrome), a pixmap allows each pixel to be any of many colours. However, the term bitmap is also often used for pixmaps.
