sdrucciola

English

Etymology

Borrowed from Italian sdrucciola (feminine form of sdrucciolo (slippery; stressed on the antepenult)).

Adjective

sdrucciola (not comparable)

  1. (rare, prosody, of a rhyme) Formed of words stressed on their antepenults and rhyming on all three final syllables.
Note that ending that couplet’s lines with the words ‘reparate’ and ‘separate’ would create a rhyme sdrucciola, if that helps.
