seseo m (plural seseos)

1. An accent in Spanish and Galician that pronounces z as /s/ and c before e or i as /s/. Someone who has a seseo accent would pronounce the words caza, meaning he or she hunts, and casa, meaning house, with an [s] sound. The words would sound identical. This accent can be typically found in the north-central of Spain and throughout the Americas.
