tâmplă
Romanian
Etymology 1
From a Vulgar Latin root *templa, which is probably derived from a root *tempula, from Latin tempora, plural of tempus, or alternatively from the feminine of templum through confusion with tempus, meaning the temple of the head. Compare Italian tempia, Old French temple.
