văpaie
Romanian
Etymology
Probably from Albanian vapë (“hot weather”),[1][2] from Old Italian vapa (“vapor”),[3] from Latin vapor (“heat, hot air”). Another theory is that it is linked to a Vulgar Latin root *vapalia, from vapa. [4]
