zűrzavar
Hungarian
Etymology
Internal development from the Old Hungarian verb zűrzavar (“to mix up”) which in turn originated as a twin word from the Old Hungarian zúr - zűr (“to stir”) and zavar (“to disturb”). For similar twin structures, compare csetlik-botlik, dúl-fúl. The verb zűrzavar became a noun influenced by the fact that the word zavar is both a noun and a verb. Today it is used only as a noun.[1]
