The map shows that under Muhammad, the caliphate expanded to cover most of the Arabian Peninsula from 622-632. Under the Rashidun Caliphate, the caliphate expanded west to Libya, north to Russia, and east to Afghanistan from 632-661. Under the Umayyad Caliphate, the caliphate expanded west to Morocco and east to India from 661-750.
