Hospital Conduct Active Follow-Up
Active follow-up is the process of obtaining updated information annually regarding a patient's health status to ensure continued medical surveillance.
Implementing this use case will provide an electronic means of performing follow-up activities, including communication with the follow-up contact and entry of follow-up information. This should reduce the time involved in conducting active follow-up.
The use case is the business process of a cancer registry and its interaction with internal actors (those who perform the process) and external actors (recipients of the process).
