A Recommended Standard for Occupational Exposure to Radon Progeny in Underground Mines

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommends that worker exposure to radon progeny in underground mines be controlled by compliance with this recommended standard, which is designed to protect the health of underground miners over a working lifetime of 30 years.
