6. Creation of man

  1. God created man

As is written in the Old Testament, God created all the beings from earth and sky. Lower beings are the inanimate ones (lifeless), as the stones; later are the plants(which grow, reproduce and don't move), later are the animals(which can move), and last is the man, who has a body and a soul, with a superior dignity than the rest. The man is the king of creation. Over man there are the angels.

       Man is a:

       - RATIONAL or intelligent being:. Animals can't think, but man can think and use language. He has understanding.

       - FREE. Animals are impulsed by instinct, but men are free to choose their way. Man can choose between good or evil. Man has free will, but he is also in charge of his own acts. Man has the will to choose.

Our fathers are part of God's plan to give us a body. Our soul has been created only by God. Our soul is spirit and can't dead, it is inmortal.

Man has been created to know, love and obbey God while in Earth andto love him in Heaven later .

It is written in the Psalm II:Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.” These words are refered to Christ, but also to every one of us, christians, because we are adopted sons of God by the Baptism.
