17. The resurrection of flesh

  1. The resurrection of flesh

Every day people die, and some of them are relatives, friends or acquitances. Some of them are old people, some young or even children. Death is the separation between body and soul. The body start to decay few hours after death, but the soul is inmortal, that is, it cannot die.

At death, man is presented to God to be judged according to his works. From this judgement he can go to Heaven- to stay with God -, to Purgatory- if he needs to be purified- or to Hell if he dies in deadly sinand without the grace of God.

The Purgatory is a state where the ones who die in grace but need to purify their venial sins can be founded. We need to offer masses, prayers and sacrifices for the souls in the Purgatory, because they need to go to Heaven.
