Hemoglobinometer
A hemoglobinometer is a medical measuring device of hemoglobin blood concentration.[1] It can operate by spectrophotometric measurement of hemoglobin concentration. Portable hemoglobinometers provide easy and convenient measurement of hematological variables, especially in areas where no clinic laboratories are available.[2]
As per NACO Guidelines for accurate results & mass screening Hemoglobinometer analyser recommended is method used as Absorbance measurement of whole blood at Hb/Hb02/Isobestic point, based on microcuvette technology like HemoCue 301/Mokshit-Chanda-AM005A.
