Novosphingobium indicum is a bacterium from the genus Novosphingobium which has been isolated from deep-sea water from the Indian Ocean.[1][3][4][5] Novosphingobium indicum hasd the ability to degrade polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.[5]
