Penicillium waksmanii is an anamorph species of the genus of Penicillium which was isolated from the alga Sargassum ringgoldianum.[1][3][4][5] Penicillium waksmanii produces pyrenocine A, pyrenocine C, pyrenocine D and pyrenocine E[6]
