I started using Ubuntu as my main OS around 2006. Over the years I have learnt from my peers many aspects of managing the OS. On the way, I picked up bits of LAN management, remote access, and bash scripting. I started contributing to this site some years ago. As a "normal" user whose primary field of expertise is not computer related, I try to make my answers to the questions in this site as easy to understand as possible.
