Computer experience: Linux: Ubuntu user since Warty; Debian and (briefly) Red Hat and Slackware. Also Knoppix, DSL, Yellow Dog, a few others. Mac user since 512Ke/Plus (switcher!) days -- 1986 or so, though not necessarily up-to-date lately. Also Ultrix, CP/M, DOS, KayPro II, Ohio Scientific, hardware hacking, etc. etc. Lately some Raspberry Pi and Arduino, but also some other random stuff floating around.

Education: M.S., Technical Communication, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Other Hardware: I'm not afraid to rip apart the washing machine, sump pump, or the family sedan whenever necessary...
