إميل شاسيناه

إميل جاستون شاسيناه (5 مايو 1868[7] - 26 مايو 1948) كان عالم مصريات فرنسي. عمل مديرًا للمعهد الفرنسي للآثار الشرقية بالقاهرة من 1898/9 حتى 1911/2. عام 1898 وتحت قيادته تغير اسم المدرسة الفرنسية بالقاهرة "École Française du Caire" ليصبح المعهد الفرنسي للآثار الشرقية " Institut Français d'Archéologie Orientale du Caire"،  وبدأ برنامج واسع للتنقيب في جميع أنحاء مصر، وأنشأ مطبعة المعهد الفرنسي والتي طبعت للآن أكثر من 700 مجلد في خمس وعشرين سلسلة.[8]
