- Malmö FF were excluded from Allsvenskan after thirteen rounds for breaking the amateur rules by paying their players. Their thirteen match results are not included in the table of the other teams.
- Tie breaker is goal average.
- Teams from a large part of northern Sweden, approximately above the province of Medelpad, were not allowed to play in the national league system until the 1953–54 season.
