1947–48 Gold Cup

The 1947–48 Gold Cup was the 29th edition of the Gold Cup, a cup competition in Northern Irish football. The tournament returned again for the first time since the 1939–40 season, with the Substitute Gold Cup having been played as a replacement tournament during World War II.[1]

The tournament was won by Belfast Celtic for the 6th time and 3rd consecutive season, defeating Distillery 2–0 in the final at Solitude.[2]
