1947 Bucknell Bison football team

The 1947 Bucknell Bison football team was an American football team that represented Bucknell University as an independent during the 1947 college football season. In its first season under head coach Harry Lawrence, the team compiled a 2–7 record.[1] Edward J. Stec and Don Davidson were the team captains.[2]

In the final Litkenhous Ratings released in mid-December, Bucknell was ranked at No. 217 out of 500 college football teams.[3]

The team played its home games at Memorial Stadium on the university campus in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
