1986–87 Southern Africa Tour
The 1986–87 Southern Africa Tour was the 16th season of the Southern Africa Tour, the main professional golf tour in South Africa since it was formed in 1971.

Season outline
Zimbabwean Mark McNulty dominated the early part of the season. He won the first event, scoring a final round 66 to defeat John Bland by two shots.[1] McNulty was also victorious at the South African Masters.[2]
During the middle of the season; Tony Johnstone and Fulton Allem had much success who alternated between wins. Johnstone won the Goodyear Classic.[3] Allem won the next event, the Palabora Classic.[4] Johnstone went on to win the next event, the ICL International.[5] Allem won the following event, the Lexington PGA Championship.[6]
McNulty dominated the remainder of the season, winning the Southern Suns South African Open by defeating Allem in a playoff.[7] McNulty also won the next event, the AECI Charity Classic, defeating Wayne Westner in a playoff.[8] At the following event, the Royal Swazi Sun Pro-Am, McNulty defeated runner-up Westner by six shots.[9]
