In-season changes

The season began in early March 2020 at the Estrella del Mar Open in Mexico. Soon after, the schedule was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with all tournaments being postponed to mid-May.[1]

With the season remaining suspended, the PGA Tour created an eight tournament LocaliQ Series based in the United States in which tour members, along with members of those of the cancelled 2020 PGA Tour Canada and 2020 PGA Tour China seasons, would be eligible to compete.[2]

On October 1, 2020, the tour announced that the season would resume in December and run through to July 2021.[3]

Notes

  1. A further twelve tournaments were scheduled but were postponed.
  2. The number in parentheses after each winner's name is the number of PGA Tour Latinoamérica events they had won up to and including that tournament. It is rare for someone to accumulate many wins on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica as success at this level usually leads to promotion to the Korn Ferry Tour.
  3. The number in parentheses after each winner's name is the number of PGA Tour Latinoamérica Developmental Series events they had won up to and including that tournament. As most Developmental Series events are incorporated from regional tour schedules, details of these wins are displayed there instead.
  4. COL − Colombian Tour; GGPM − Gira de Golf Profesional Mexicana; TPG − TPG Tour.
