2022 World Athletics U20 Championships – Men's 100 metres

The men's 100 metres at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships was held at the Estadio Olímpico Pascual Guerrero in Cali, Colombia on 1 and 2 August 2022.[1]

Round 1

Round 1 took place on 1 August, with the 63 athletes involved being split into 8 heats, 7 heats of 8 and 1 of 7 athletes.[5] The first 2 athletes in each heat ( Q ) and the next 8 fastest ( q ) qualified to the semi-final.[6] The overall results were as follows:[7]
