Aamer Jamal
Aamer Jamal (born 5 July 1996) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is known for his pace which stays around 150 kmph and his line and length. As a left arm fast pacer, he is one of the best bowler of the modern cricket era and is praised by experts such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Ricky Ponting. He can also bat properly as have scored 3 centuries in domestic cricket and one half century in international cricket. He has been in many controversies since 2022 because of familiar reasons and that is why has been blocked to debut currently in ODIs which was supposed to be in 2019. As a batter, he opens as a part time opener and has played an powerful knock of 61 runs in just 27 balls. He usually bats at no. 8 or no. 9.

Early career
Born in Mianwali but brought up in Rawalpindi, Jamal played most of his cricket in and around Islamabad, beginning his domestic career in 2013 with inter-region Under-19 and departmental Under-19 tournaments.[2]
Domestic career
After performing for the Pakistan U19 team he played club cricket and league cricket in England.[3]
He made his first-class debut for Pakistan Television in the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 1 September 2018.[4] He made his List A debut for Pakistan Television in the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup on 22 September 2018.[5]
In January 2021, he was named in Northern's squad for the 2020–21 Pakistan Cup.[6][7]
International career
In September 2022, he was named in the Pakistan's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series against England.[8] He made his T20I debut on 28 September 2022, against England.[9]
In June 2023, he was named in Test squad for the series against Sri Lanka.[10]
