Alexsandro (footballer, born 1999)

Alexsandro Victor de Souza Ribeiro (born 9 August 1999), known simply as Alexsandro, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Ligue 1 club Lille.

In this Portuguese name, the first or maternal family name is de Souza and the second or paternal family name is Ribeiro.

Career

Alexsandro started his career with Portuguese third tier side Praiense.[2][3][4] In 2021, Alexsandro signed for Chaves in the Portuguese second tier, where he made 34 appearances and scored 3 goals, helping them earn promotion to the Portuguese top flight.[5][6]

In 2022, he signed for French Ligue 1 club Lille.[7]
