History

Anoka was laid out in 1902.[4] The village was named after Anoka, Minnesota.[5]

Education

Anoka is in Boyd County Schools,[10] established in June 2017.[11]

Anoka was formerly in West Boyd Public Schools,[12] which was established in a merger in July 2007.[13]
