The eight part series was co-produced by the Norwegian independent production company Cinenord, Norway’s public broadcaster NRK and the US Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).[5] Most of the series was filmed in the Czech Republic and Norway.[6]
Reception
The series created controversy in Norway by repeatedly portraying the President and the Crown Princess as romantically involved, a claim that is not supported by historical evidence.
