Geography

Aucilla is located in eastern Jefferson County at 30°29'N 83°45′W (30.480,-83.754).[5] It is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of U.S. Route 90 and 1.8 miles (2.9 km) north of Interstate 10 at that highway's Exit 233. Aucilla is 9 miles (14 km) southeast of Monticello, the Jefferson county seat, via US-90, and 34 miles (55 km) east of Tallahassee, the state capital, via I-10.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Aucilla CDP has an area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2), all of it recorded as land.[4]
