Bala Darband Rural District (Persian: دهستان بالا دربند) is in the Central District of Kermanshah County, Kermanshah province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 17,483 in 3,870 households.[3] There were 18,373 inhabitants in 4,409 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 10,937 in 2,521 households. The largest of its 62 villages was Shahid Rajai Garrison, with 2,229 people.[2]
