Balkur
Balkur (Persian: بالكور, also Romanized as Bālkūr)[1] is a village in Maraveh Tappeh Rural District, in the Central District of Maraveh Tappeh County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 105, in 24 families.[2]

Balkur is also a place of Udupi District of India and also a place of Uthara Kannada District of India. Balkur is a large village located in Kundapura of Udupi district, Karnataka with total 584 families residing.
