Shristi Shrestha
Shristi Shrestha (Nepali: श्रीस्टी श्रेष्ठ, ) is a Nepalese model, actress, and the winner of the ⓘMiss Nepal World 2012 pageant. She works in Nepali cinema.[1]

Career
Miss Nepal
Shrestha represented her hometown of Chitwan during the Miss Nepal 2012 beauty pageant as Miss Chitwan 2012. She went on to win the main title of Miss Nepal World 2012 along with the Miss Confidence title.[2]
Shrestha is the first Miss Nepal to reach the quarter-finals of Miss World in which she finished in 20th place while achieving the eighth position in Beach Beauty and was one of the top 10 contestants for the Multimedia Award. She also won the 'Public Choice award' during the Miss World pageant.[3]
Acting
Her acting career began with her debut in the Nepali film Gajalu, in which she starred alongside Anmol K.C. Additionally, she made her theatrical debut as Ophelia in a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet. This performance was staged at the Theatre Village in Kathmandu for a one-month run, and was produced by the British Council. The play was directed by Gregory Thomson.[4]

Shrestha has received several awards including the National Film Award, the Kamana Film Award, D Cine Award and the Faan award.

Personal life
Shrestha is the seventh Young Conservation Ambassador in WWF Nepal.[9][10] and is involved with Snow Leopard conservation projects at WWF Nepal.[10] She was in a relationship with Saugat Malla from 2016 to early 2023.[11]
